Season 2 of Louie is significantly better than the first but I still think it occasionally overestimates how much laughter can be derived from watching things that are incredibly painful to watch.
I think the funniest thing about the general reaction to The Dark Knight Rises to me is that you can hear the phrase “Christopher Nolan still hasn’t learned how to stage an action sequence” and the phrase “No one stages an action sequence as well as Christopher Nolan” from two different yet equally intelligent, reasonable, and tasteful moviegoers.
it’s exactly as difficult as you’d think it would be to find a download of Girls that isn’t porn.
